Information Transport System Design

Scalable. Modular. Compliant.

Structured wiring and distribution is the foundation for all interoperable network infrastructure systems. Essentially, wiring and cabling does for the process of transporting information what the central nervous system does for the human body. There can be no performance without it. It sounds complicated, we understand. That is why you should trust all of your structured cabling, fiber backbone and specialized wiring solutions to the BICSI certified professionals at Level-(1). We design and install inside plant and outside plant cabling that requires copper or glass (fiber optic) wiring for data centers, single floors, entire buildings or multiple building campus environments. Our implementation is designed to be seamless, so your systems, wherever possible, can continue to run while they are being upgraded, consolidated, or converted. Upon completion, you can rest assured that you will have a more efficient, high performance system that is fully integrated with increased reliability.

Design. We use AutoCAD 2010 MEP to design both copper and fiber-optic cabling systems. We design conduit, cable tray and riser systems to support cabling infrastructures and cable routing and management. Our design engineers subscribe to an open architecture design because it is scalable, modular and can operate any low-voltage system. We provide an accurate view of the design through detailed drawings that reveal floor and space plans, equipment rooms, server centers, elevation drawings with frontal views of racks and cabinets, and the layout of equipment for data, voice, paging, audio/video and other low-voltage systems.

Enclosure solutions. Level-(1) designs self-contained enclosure solutions that behave more like miniature data centers with network infrastructure, security for the network infrastructure, power protection, monitoring and HVAC technologies all wrapped up into a self-contained but highly adaptable unit.

Installation. We use fully insured, certified and unionized personnel to install copper and fiber optic voice, data, video and security systems. Each installed system is documented, tested and commissioned to verify system performance and to obtain optimal manufacturer warranties.

Compliance. Our professionals are versed in state and local code requirements and adhere to the preeminent industry standards for the design and installation of Information Transport Systems (ITS) established by the Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI). Our technology professionals include individuals that are also Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certified. This certification is globally recognized to be the exceptional qualification and expertise in the design, integration and implementation of telecommunications systems and their related infrastructure components. We provide written specifications that detail Level-(1)’s installation methods, parameter s and requirements, and reference industry standards. We will even conduct walkthroughs to make sure everything is what and where it should be.

IP Protocol. IP, or Internet Protocol, allows for system interconnectivity and accessibility. Our cabling solutions can be applied to multiple applications. Essentially, if it can run on IP, it can run over most low-voltage systems. That makes Level-(1)’s infrastructure solutions flexible, future-proof -- when possible -- and cost-effective.
