Most of the consulting process and actual infrastructure is produced during this phase. Time, cost and inspection measures are used to control and ensure the project is on schedule, on budget and meets specifications. We subscribed to an Earned Value method that measures budgeted and actual costs to arrive at a Budgeted Cost of Work Performed (BCWP), a dollar amount that coincides with work completed. Communications remains a high priority during this phase. Our project managers deliver periodic status reports and meets daily with his or her team to review progress and deal with any issues that have been documented. |
